Weekend Laughs at Fringe Bar is a two hour comedy showcase with some of the country's favourite performers.

Each month's line up will feature a guest MC, plus 6 acts from around the capital and the country, doing their best to bring the big laughs!
With a changing line up each month, there'll be a little of something for everyone.

Tony Lyall is one of New Zealand's most exciting comedians. His mix of high energy storytelling, off the cuff crowd work and general good times vibe shakes up any stage he appears on. Tony is head writer and a reporter on The Project, appeared on the Comedy Gala, writes for 7 Days and was nominated for 'Breakthrough Comedian' at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards.

And Lesa Macleod-Whiting - 2025 Billy T Award nominee
Lesa is a Wellington-based writer, improviser and comedian. She has been a regular on the Wellington improv scene since 2016 and began doing stand-up in July 2020, going on to nab the Runner Up spot at the Wellington Raw Comedy Quest. She has a penchant for characters, accents and fast-paced silliness.
