Weekend Laughs at Fringe Bar is a two hour comedy showcase with some of the country's favourite performers. Each month's line up will feature a guest MC, plus comedians from around the capital and the country, doing their best to bring the big laughs!

James is an award-winning comedian known for Winning Celebrity Treasure Island, as well as his hit TVNZ+ series Abandonment Issues. James made his start in comedy with his online show Shorty Street Scandal back in 2014, and started stand up comedy in 2015. Since then he's been a regular performer across the NZ comedy circuit, and has also appeared on hit TV shows such as Have You Been Paying Attention NZ, The Comedy Gala, and Guy Mont's Spelling Bee.

and Sameena Zehra
Sameena is an award-winning storyteller, comedian, writer, director, political satirist, intersectional feminist and humanist with a unique take on the world; equally at home exploring the individual experiences of daily life and the larger issues of the world we live in. She is also a blues singer-songwriter, extreme doodler and Level 2 chocolate taster who was once headbutted by a llama while climbing Machu Picchu.
