The stepping stone for many New Zealand comedians, the Raw Comedy Quest has brought forth new comedy talent from across the country, with heats in Christchurch, Wellington, Palmerston North and Auckland.

From six heats, the top 24 go to the semifinals, and the top 10 to the Wellington final. 2024 Wellington finalist Chen Wang came runner up in the 2024 National Raw Comedy Quest, and Lydia Sainsbury runner up in 2025, can the capital win it this time?

Each heat is MC'd by a pro comedian, kick your weekend off with a rollercoaster of comedy
