Originally from Canada, Laura is an entrepreneur, author, and stand-up comedian.
Her wry, observational comedy sees relationships, culture and language put under the microscope, and dissected.
She debuted her first solo show at the 2022 New Zealand Fringe Festival. Featuring some strong opinions, “How to Cook a Kiwi: Laura Bruce’s N to Z of Aotearoa” explored the culture of her adopted home through the lens of a television chef.
